The career counselling program conducted by Foundation for Education and Environment in Lungla at Government Higher Secondary School Lungla proved to be highly beneficial for the students. The program aimed to provide guidance and support to students in making informed decisions about their future careers.
The program began with a series of interactive introductions of resource persons , motivational speech by Shri Tashi Dhondup (ADC, Lungla) and seminars, where professionals from various fields shared their expertise and experiences with the students. These sessions helped broaden the students' understanding of different career options and the skills required to excel in them.
The program saw an enrolment of 240+ students from KGBV School Lungla , Jamtse Gatsel Children’s Community and Govt. Higher Secondary School Lungla.
Classroom counseling sessions were organized, where career counselors assessed the students' interests, aptitudes, and goals. They provided personalized guidance, helping students identify their strengths and explore suitable career paths. The counselors also offered valuable advice on higher education opportunities and scholarship programs available to them.
Asst. Commandant Deepak sir (SSB Lungla) , Major Kartik K Pujari (Maratha regiment) ,Mr Rahul Bhola (OC, RCC 127 BRO), Mrs Nisha Bhola (Teacher), Mrs. Tsetan Droma ( CO Dutongkhar) , Asst. Commandant Rajesh Kumar (ITBP) , Shri Tashi Panden (ADO , Kitpi) and Dr Rinchin Tsering (M.O. CHC Lungla) were kind enough to guide the students and make them aware of the career paths in their respective field.
Furthermore, the program provided Career chart to help students better understand their personality traits and align them with suitable career choices. This chart proved to be eye-opening for many students, leading them to reconsider their initial career preferences.
Overall, the career counselling program in Government Higher Secondary School Lungla successfully empowered the students with the necessary knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about their future careers. It instilled confidence and provided them with a clear roadmap for success, ensuring a brighter future for the students of Lungla.
